Online Banking "look" is changing week of June 14
Entrust Federal Credit Union has been working to revamp the look and ease of use for our Online Banking. The process begins with the release of a new look to the site that is designed to be easier to read, easier to use, and place the information you are looking for right up front. The basic functionality remains the same, but the look is new. We are working hard to bring additional enhancements to Online Bill Payment and e-Alerts very soon as well. We are not planning to stop there and continue to implement additional online services that will satisfy your needs.
We will be working on updates to Online Banking and its services the week of June 14. This means that there could be times when connectivity is slow or not available, but our plan is to minimize disruptions as we realize our members use it 24/7.
Some of the upcoming enhancements include:
New design to Online Banking
Important information available as soon as you connect to Online Banking such as your account balances
Fewer clicks to navigate to some services, such as e-Alerts and e-Statements, by additional links available on the main page
Ability to connect to Online Banking and download transactions to the latest versions of Quicken or other budgeting software
Additional e-Alerts that you can setup to keep you up to date on your accounts:
- Debit Card Authorizations and Transactions
- Overdraft Privilege Transaction Alerts
- Alerts sent to a mobile device (standard text messaging charges may apply)
- Alerts on changes to your personal information
Additional enhancements to Online Bill Payment include:
- Ability to group payees for better management
- Recommendations on potential billers that you can pay through Online Bill Payment
These enhancements might not happen all at once, but our goal is to provide you with an Online Banking product that will meet your needs. If you have any suggestions on products or services that you would like to see in our suite of Online Banking services, please contact our Member Services Department.
Overdraft Privilege: ACTION REQUIRED
A recent change to your checking account was approved by the Federal Reserve Bank effective August 15, 2010, which will affect the level of service we provide to you. Your immediate action is required otherwise your checking account features will change.
The new regulation requires us to obtain your approval before we consider payment of your ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card purchases that may create an overdraft in your checking account. We currently provide this service to you as part of our Overdraft Privilege program because majority of our members prefer avoiding the embarrassment and inconvenience of having their debit card purchases denied when at the grocery store checkout line, at a restaurant paying the bill, or at the airport purchasing tickets. (Please note that if information is not available for our system to determine if the debit card purchase is a recurring debit card purchase, such as a gym membership or an internet subscription, it will be treated as an everyday purchase, thus not covered by Overdraft Privilege without you opting-in.)
To continue receiving the same level of service, you will need to complete this Opt-In Form and fax or mail it to us on or before August 13, 2010.You may also call us at (804) 353-8012 or 1-800-944-3622 to opt-in. Once you "opt-in" to our Overdraft Privilege Service for your ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card purchases, we will send you a letter to confirm your authorization.
Please remember there is no charge for this service unless you use it. Your prompt action is required so your service level is not disrupted beginning August 15.
We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion that this new Federal Regulation may cause you and your family. Please contact us with any questions that you may have because we are here to serve you!
